Welcome Back Crull Families!  We are looking forward to serving you and your children for the 2017-2018 school year.

Open House & Parent Title I Meeting Wednesday, October 4th 6:00 - 7:30
Please come join us in our brand new learning commons!  We will have a ribbon cutting ceremony with a warm welcome from Superintendent Cain and administration, teacher introductions, Title I updates, and then you may tour the campus and classrooms.  We hope to see all of you!

Reminder about new Procedures:
Teachers and safety patrol will continue to meet you and your child outside in the morning to be sure students are greeted.  Students will be escorted into the building.  Students will be escorted out of the building at dismissal.  We are phasing out parents entering the halls and walking their children to class.  For the first week of school, 9/5 - 9/8 you were able to come in through the main entrance at 8:15 and exit back through the main entrance at 8:25.  Please know we are working towards independence and improving safety.  Beginning Monday, 9/11 we will be enforcing the change securing the campus.   Please see changes below.

Changing Access to the Crull Campus:
Safety is always our number one priority.  The secure entrance requires we align our procedures with the other elementary buildings and the district policy for entering a secure building.  We understand this will be different from what you may have experienced at Crull in the past, but we must update our procedures to assure the safety of all children and staff.

All parents and visitors will only be able to enter the building at the main secure entrance off Hancock St. at the front of the building pending photo identification.  Parents will not be allowed to walk their students to class in the a.m.  Parents and visitors are prohibited from entering other doors into the hallways of the school.  These doors are emergency exits and will always be locked.

All student drop offs will be guided by safety patrol and staff to the main entrance.

We are encouraging parents to “hug and go” this coming year.  If you choose to drop off your child on Hancock St. please pull through the “hug and go zone” on Hancock, drop off your child, and kindly drive through.  Please do not park on Hancock.

If you must access the building parent parking will continue on the west side Riverside St. lot and will be available at the east side Hancock lot. Please come to the main entrance and check in at the main office.
Thank you for honoring teaching hours from 8:15 - 3:15.  Teachers are available to meet by appointment.  Please contact your child’s teacher and the main office as needed.  We suggest emailing/calling the teacher directly.
